Aside from bringing “Home Town” back for Season 7 later this year, stars Ben and Erin Napier are also fronting a new HGTV show, “Home Town Kickstart,” premiering later in 2022. Per People, which is presenting the show, it follows the beloved couple as they travel all over the U.S. to help other cities realize their full potential. 

As Ben enthused in a press release, “Erin and I have renovated more than 80 homes in Laurel for ‘Home Town’ and we’ve seen how these improvements change a community for the better. Now, with help from HGTV, we’re going to continue what we started and help more small towns across the country.”

To ensure they make a real difference, Ben and Erin will be renovating a local residence, a small business, and a neglected public space, which should ensure that the HGTV stars leave their mark.

Jane Latman, president of HGTV & Streaming Home Content at Discovery Inc., explained how the previous spinoff, “Home Town Takeover,” inspired the network to continue sharing the Napiers’ expertise with the rest of the country. Moreover, showrunners went back and looked through submissions for the older show to find six more deserving small towns to tackle.

People confirms that several other HGTV stars will be making an appearance on the spinoff, too, including “Hidden Potential” star Jasmine Roth and “Rock the Block” host Ty Pennington.
