Bill Clinton accuser Paula Jones slammed her portrayal in a new show about the former president’s sex scandals, calling it ‘cartoonish’ and criticizing the continued focus on Monica Lewinsky above her own allegations.
Jones, 54, told Inside Edition’s Deborah Norville that her portrayal on the FX show ‘Impeachment: American Crime Story’ is mostly ‘inaccurate’ and ‘almost kind of cartoonish-y’ in an interview set to air Tuesday night.
‘How can they portray somebody accurately if they don’t even call them?’ asked Jones, who sued Clinton in 1994 for allegedly exposing himself to her in a hotel room.
In the show, Jones is played by Masters of Sex actress Annaleigh Ashford.
She also criticized the continued focus on Monica Lewinsky, an executive producer on the show, who had a consensual relationship with the president starting in 1995 when she was a 21-year-old intern at the White House.

‘I find it funny that Monica can have a relationship in the Oval Office, under the Oval desk, yet… people want to hear her story,’ she said in the interview set to air Tuesday night.
‘It makes no sense to me. I have always been shunned and made fun of.’
Jones took aim at the show’s suggestion that she was looking for a TV or movie deal after coming forward with allegations of sexual harassment against the president.
‘That is so far from the truth,’ she says.
She also said that the Me Too movement, which has forced powerful men in entertainment and politics to atone for previous instances of misconduct or abuse, has largely bypassed her.
‘I really don’t have anything to do with the #MeToo movement. Actually, they don’t have anything to do with me. I am just out here alone,’ she said.

‘Impeachment’ premiered last week on FX. It was developed by Glee and American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy and stars Beanie Feldstein as Lewinsky, Sarah Paulson as her confidant Linda Tripp and Clive Owen as President Clinton.
Jones sued Bill Clinton in May 1994, alleging that the then-Governor of Arkansas exposed himself to her in a hotel room in 1991 when she was just a 24-year-old state worker making $6.35 an hour.
She said his bodyguard approached her as she was working the registration desk at a state conference that Clinton was attending.
The bodyguard slipped her ‘a piece of paper’ with a four-digit number on it and said, ‘The Governor would like to meet with you,’ according to the lawsuit.
Jones said she went to the room in the hopes that it would help her career.

‘Clinton asked Jones: “Are you married?” She responded that she had a regular boyfriend. Clinton then approached the sofa and as he sat down he lowered his trousers and underwear exposing his erect penis and asked Jones to “kiss it,”‘ the lawsuit states.
Jones allegedly refused and jumped up from the couch.
‘Clinton, while fondling his penis said: “Well, I don’t want to make you do anything you don’t want to do.” Clinton then stood up and pulled up his pants and said: “If you get in trouble for leaving work, have Dave call me immediately and I’ll take care of it.”‘
‘As Jones left the room Clinton looked sternly at Jones and said: “You are smart. Let’s keep this between ourselves,'” the lawsuit continues.
Clinton eventually settled the matter for $850,000, but it was his testimony in that lawsuit that led to his impeachment trial.

During a deposition for the Jones lawsuit, he denied having sex with Monica Lewinsky – which was later found to be false and led to his impeachment on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice.
On Tuesday, Jones said: ‘My lawyers got all the money, hope they’re happy.’
Jones and Norville had a tense encounter when the two last sat down for an interview in 1998.
‘With all due respect, why would Bill Clinton care about you? So you turned him down,’ Norville asked.
‘I don’t appreciate that. That was really rude. That was so rude,’ Jones said as she broke down in tears.
‘I don’t appreciate it. People are screaming about me, talking about my new nose and everything else. Everybody else has plastic surgery to get their noses done, but no, I don’t have a lot. I’m not pretty enough, and I’m not good enough,’ she said before walking away from the interview.
Norville clarified her question on Tuesday.
‘What my point was, okay fine, he wasn’t successful with this girl, you know, move on, next. Why would he care enough that one person turned him down to go whisper to somebody, “Make sure nothing good happens with this lady’s career?'”
Jones responded: ‘Right, right. Yeah, and you know, I don’t have the answer to that.’
