Australian snowboarder Scotty James is engaged to Canadian singer and Formula One heiress Chloe Stroll. 

The pair announced the happy news with fans on Instagram on Monday, after Scotty, 27, dropped to one knee in the middle of the snow in Switzerland. 

He presented her with a stunning and oversized diamond ring, with Chloe, 26, proudly showing it off as they posed for pictures.

The pair also posed up for a video, flashing her ring and sharing a kiss after getting engaged. 

‘Hey, we’re getting married… everyone this is my fiancée,’ Scotty said in the clip. 

‘This is my fiancé!’ Chloe screamed.

Meanwhile Chloe also shared images from the proposal and captioned it: ‘Forever’.

In April, the pair celebrated their two-year anniversary. 

They are in Switzerland as Scotty trains for the February Winter Olympics.

Her race car driver brother Lance Stroll, 23, helped set the pair up.

Chloe previously told The Herald Sun about how her brother thought Scotty was her perfect match. 

‘Lance actually called me and said, ”I think I just found the guy you’re going to marry,” Chloe explained. 

Meanwhile Scotty said he knew pretty early on that Chloe was ‘The One’.

‘I just connected with her in New York and went out to dinner with her at a place called Motel Morris in Chelsea and the rest is history,’ he said.
