MICHAEL Strahan’s ex-wife was arrested after allegedly distributing topless pictures of her longtime friend.
Marianne Ayer, 57, told The Sun that her former pal Jean Strahan is a “sociopath and narcissist” who handed out the images “harass and humiliate” her.
Jean Strahan was arrested in New York City on June 25 and faces criminal contempt charges for allegedly terrorizing her long-time friend Ayer.
Strahan was videotaped being escorted and handcuffed behind her back by four uniformed cops. Now additional footage obtained by The Sun shows as she appears to hold pictures of a woman, identified as Marianne.
Marianne said Jean had turned up as she was leaving the home they shared, adding: “On the day I was moving she came to my new home with topless photos of me.
“She was handing them out to passersby. She wanted to harass and humiliate me.”
The Sun has contacted an attorney for Jean and NYPD for additional comment.
Mom-of-four Marianne, 57, who now has an order of protection against her former friend Jean Strahan, says their troubles began when the pair moved in together earlier this year.
Recounting her experiences with Jean, Marianne fumed: “She [Jean] is a sociopath and narcissist. If you get in her path, she will say and do anything, she does not care.
“She is very scary, evil and vile. She is vindictive, dangerous and mad.”
Marianne said the two women had been “friends for years” and had been neighbors in New Jersey.
She said they decided to move in together in New York City in February of this year but things detoriated after Jean was allegedly “almost immediately abusive” to Marianne’s son Danny.
Marianne said: “We had a very strong friendship.
“In February of this year we decided to move in together to combine our money. She had to move to New York so that Michael could see the girls more regularly.
“But things went from bad to worse. The things she said to my son were outrageous. She tried to deflect, saying she was tired and had not had any rest but I was appalled at the way she spoke to him.
“I saw her once, when she lost her temper, throw one of her eight cats like a football.
“She started making all kinds of false allegations against my son Danny. I know she has mental health issues that are not being addressed.
“Danny called while I was at a funeral in South Carolina. When I came back she had thrown all of my things into the basement and changed all the locks. My name was not on the lease.”
Now Marianne, who said she paid $15,000 up front to live with Jean until September, says she wants to apologize to GMA host and former footballer Michael.
She added: “I want to apologize to Micahel. Now I have definitely seen his side of things.”
“She’s had Michael in and out of court. I did not believe her completely [when it came to Michael]. I saw her making up lies.
“She was always trying to get more money, she is very greedy, it was never enough and she has always been a kept woman.
“I hope I never have to see or talk to her ever again. I hope Michael can do something to stop her future abuse. Maybe this will help.”
Ayer has accused Jean Strahan of committing grand larceny, disorderly conduct, harassment, coercion, and forcible touching, TMZ reported last month, citing legal documents.
She is next due in court on July 26.
Jean Strahan was Michael Strahan’s second wife. The Good Morning America host and her were married back in 1996.
They experienced a rocky union, with Jean Strahan accusing the defensive end of domestic abuse back in 2005, according to the New York Post.
“The violent and abusive relationship can be medically verified,” Jean’s attorney Ellen Marshall alleged at the time.
The abuse claims appeared to lack merit and Michael denied that he had been physically abusive with Jean.
The couple split in 2006 – with the former Giants star shelling out $15.3million plus $18,000 a month in child support.
Last year, Michael Strahan alleged in a North Carolina court Jean Strahan had committed a “pattern of abusive conduct” toward their twin 16-year-old daughters, Sophia and Isabella.
Those claims were tossed and the exes settled on shared custody, Page Six reported.
The former NFL player first walked down the aisle two times.
He first wed back in 1992 with Wanda Hutchins. That marriage lasted only four years.
They are parents to Tanita, 29, Michael Jr, 26.
